<p>I will have to say it`s the most modern pagoda i even see before, it`s have the elevator from the entrance to the pagoda, and inside of the pagoda, it have two transparent life that you can take directly to the fourth story and no climbing at all, but it`s now a totally tourist place you can not feel it`s a pagoda though.<br /> The view are really nice if you get to the top of pagoda, you can have the view of <a href="http://www.synotrip.com/hangzhou/duan-qiao">Su Causeway</a>, Small Yingzhou Islet and of cause the hug <a href="http://www.synotrip.com/hangzhou/west-lake-xi-hu">West Lake</a>.</p> Read less

<p>Leifeng Pagoda is located on south of the <a href="http://www.synotrip.com/hangzhou/west-lake-xi-hu">West Lake</a>, it`s a five stories tower with eight sides. The one now it`s not the original one, on the afternoon of Septemper 25, 1924 it collapsed, but Hangzhou government rebuilt it in 2002, the original one was built in year 975 AD.</p> <p>The reason i went there coz the tale calls <strong>Lengend of the White Snake</strong>, this is one of the most important scence in the whole story.</p> <p>Unlucky the Leifeng pagoda was burned it`s wooden elements by Japanese pirates during Ming Dynasty when they attacked Hangzhou.</p> <br /> <br /> Read less
