Iran is the biggest saffron producer of the world. Harvest season which is in October, is a unique moment for anyone who like to experience a different taste of the nature. Saffron flower germinate early in the morning and should be harvested before sunset. Tomorrow the story will be repeated!

A one day tour could be managed from Mashhad to Nishapur (also called Neyshabour) to visit the Saffron field and eat a traditional lunch there. On the way back to Mashhad, there is the opportunity to visit Khayyam and Attar temple.
