Amazing Cycling Paddy Field and Fishing Village Tour/在槟城乡下的稻田及渔村里踏自行车
Tour Description
Have some exercise and visit Penang countryside on a two wheels bicycle, Nibong Tebal, Penang. This town is not promoted as a tourism attraction spot but it has beauty to offer to visitors.
I pick guests up from any hotels in Penang and proceed to Nibong Tebal where is southern part of Penang mainland. We cycle about 25km journey on this amazing tour. We cross Krian River on bicycles and motorcycles bridge. We turn to about one kilometre long paddy canal to have a wide view of the paddy field. Depending on the season, guests may see muddy paddy field to greenish or gold brown paddy plants. Guests have closed contact to paddy plants. Hand on at the paddy field may be available and subject to farmers approval.
From paddy field, we continue our cycling journey to Sungai Udang fishing village. From morning to afternoon, fishermen and fishmongers are busy unloading and sorting their caught fishes from sea. Fresh fishes can be purchased at the port and have them cook at a local restaurant. In additional, guests can have cold beer and observe the fishermen activities at the port.
Cycle back to Nibong Tebal, we shall pass mosques, chinese and hindu temples. Visiting these places are available, all guests must respect their religion practise.
Before ending the tour, guests may have chance to have coconut water. Guests can request to drop to anywhere in Penang.
Tour price includes a rental bicycle and a helmet. Hand on experience on paddy field may be chargeable.
