Sonargaon - the old capital of Bengal is located 30 km away from the city center. Now you will find a abandoned township, ruins of buildings & a reach folk art museum. It was a center of excellence during Mughal period.
"In the morning I will pick you up from your hotel lobby. Visit Karrzon Hall, Shahid Minar, Mosque of 16th century, Dhakeswari Hindu Temple, Lalbagh Fort and other historical monuments. After lunch we will visit pink palace & Sadarghat river front. Then we will have a river cruise at Buriganga river on traditional boat. If time permits then we will drive to Sonargaon - the old capital of Bengal.
