Sri Lanka has a variety of guest houses, apartments, star class hotels and resort that care most of needs. The high end hotels and resorts generally quote room rate in Dollars. Colombo has number of five-star hotels located in the heart of the city, and in close proximity to the business district and shopping malls.

Airports

The Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) is located 30 kilometers north of the commercial capital Colombo. Many international airlines including the national  carrier Sri Lankan Airlines fly into and out of BIA, Some en rote to other destination in the region.  Newly refurbished and upgraded, BIA has all the facilities a traveler would expect to find at an international airport, including duty free shops, cafes, money changing facilities. Sri Lanka second large international airport (The Mattala Mahinda Rajapaksa International Airport) is located in the south of island, in close proximity to the port city of Hambantota.

ATM and Credit Cards

Most bank have ATM's around Sri Lanka.Major international credit cards such as Visa, Master Card, Union Pay widely accepted in Sri Lanka

Banks are generally open from 9.00am to 4.00pm on weekdays and some fore longer

Business Hours

The working week in Srl Lanka is Monday to Friday with offices operating in the main between 9.00am to 4.30pm
