About the Tibet Permit Application

1) All kinds of people can get Tibet permit through a travel agency except diplomats, journalists, and government officials who should travel to Tibet under the arrangement by the Foreign Affairs Office of Tibet Government.

2) Foreigners who plan to travel in Tibet must get the Tibet travel permit and directed by a travel agency. And when check in at the airport, you will need to show your permits to the staff here.

3) The permits application requires copies of your passports and Chinese visa (People from Singapore, Japan and Brunei only need passport, as they don't need apply for visa if their travel period in China is within 15 days.)
