About this place

Tumuli Park (=Cheonmachong) is kind of cluster of tombs of royal family. There are a few tombs which is excavated so we don't know much about who's who.  There are some diffenences between Silla Kingdom's tombs and other dynasty's. The Silla Kingdom's tombs are stone piled and wooden coffin. It is also located near by residential house. While others are in the mountain especially during Joseon dynasty. 

There is one tomb which is excavated. That is Cheonmachong. It is called Chonmachong because there is flying horse in the paintings of saddle. (Actually it is not horse but dragon.)  This is where we can go inside. 

No picture inside the tomb(Cheonmachong).  Please be solemn inside the tomb.
