<p>We visited Guangzhou in February 2016 and found ourselves a bit overwhelmed by what to do and see, so we decided to seek a guide.&nbsp;Hillary was recommended to us by another personal guide that was unavailable for the date we needed. We arranged for Hillary to meet us at our hotel to go walking throughout the Old Guangzhou area- which has yet to be overtaken by skyscrapers. Hillary gave us suggestions of places to see that we had not visited, such as Chen Clan Academy, Beijing Rd etc. We also enjoy seeing temples and Hillary was sure enough to add a few for us to see along the way. She also sent a list of other temples to visit for the next day, they were located in nearby cities in Guangzhou. A great recommendation of hers was the Yip Man museum/Daoist&nbsp;Temple. My husband and I are a bit more unconventional travelers, we enjoyed most just going to eat and having the menu translated and writing down tips of food to order the next day when we wouldn&#39;t have Hillary. She was also kind enough to assist my husband in getting his jeans repaired at a nearby tailor shop. Hillary was also patient with us as we had to make an impromptu shopping trip to buy an extra layer of clothing as it was quite cold in Guangzhou at that time. Hillary spoke English and was clear to understand. She was professional and knew some nice places to see as well as good restaurants. <p>I found Hillary on this site synotrip.com and she was one of several sourcing agents that I contacted in regards to my trip to Guangzhou in search of hair extensions for a new eCommerce website/business that I&#39;m in the process of building. &nbsp;Hillary was the first agent to contact me immediately. Her initial contact was very informative and detailed. She informed me that she was a native of Guangzhou and very familiar with working in several major industries, including sourcing for hair extensions. Hillary gave me a detailed explanation of what my expectations should be from her and reassured me of some of my personal concerns with traveling to China as a first timer.</p> <p>From the moment I sent Hillary my travel itinerary, she planned out my airport arrival pickup for my Partner and I, which was beautifully executed by an outside driver who was very welcoming and inviting. He spoke good English and during the ride from the airport to our hotel, he gave a thorough overview of the city and the culture. My arrival date in Guangzhou was October 3rd, 2015 which was during the time of China&#39;s national holiday.&nbsp; Most of the Chinese people go on family vacation, therefore Hillary suggested that we check out some of the local tourist destinations, which was fantastic idea! We enjoyed seeing the local sites, in addition to Hillary being our personal tour guide. She is very informative and knowledgeable of the attractions, local culture, cuisines and customs.</p> <p>When we started our sourcing visits, Hillary planned out our daily itinerary, appointments and taxi rides. During our meetings Hillary handled all of my business introductions and had a solid grasp of exactly what I was looking for from a sourcing prospective. Because of her presence, my meetings were informative, productive and very effective. There is no way I would have been as successful without her. Hillary is very sharp! Her English is good and her communication skills are solid.</p> <p>Further, I requested to go on a personal shopping excursion and Hillary was exceptional when it came to taking me to the markets and knowing exactly what I was looking for. It was great having her present during the negotiating process. She offered great recommendations to get the best deals!&nbsp;</p> <p>From Guangzhou, I planned on taking a train to Hong Kong for the 2nd part of my trip and several days before I left that area, Hillary took me to the train station to purchase my tickets, in addition to showing me exactly where I needed to be to catch the train. She also arranged for a driver to pick us up from the hotel and take us to the train station for our next journey. The driver was prompt and Hillary kept me notified of his arrival.</p> <p>I can&#39;t thank Hillary enough for making my first visit to China remarkable!&nbsp; Because I her, I have located all of my vendors who I plan to work with and have established positive business relationships.&nbsp; Since my return to the US, I haven&#39;t stop talking or thinking about my trip to Guangzhou. I am so thankful that I met Hillary, who is an outstanding business woman, easy to work with and very honest.&nbsp; If you are considering a trip to this region, I highly recommend starting with Hillary.
