Hello, I am Jin, a proud Shanghai native and an official guide certified by the National Tourism Office. With a deep passion for my hometown, I've been a tour guide and interpreter since 2010. Before embarking on this journey, I served as a secretary in a market research company, gaining valuable experience in organizing business trips.

Jin was a wonderful tour guide for the 2 days I had to explore Shanghai. Before even leaving the US, she responded quickly to my email and even provided a suggested itinerary for us to hit all the main spots in Shanghai, as well as at ancient water town Zhujiajiao. She is so friendly and always made sure I was enjoying myself during my visit....read more

She is so friendly and always made sure I was enjoying myself during my visit. Jin has a wonderful knowledge of Shanghai / Chinese history and I loved learning about Chinese culture from her. She even took me to some wonderful markets (Pearl Market, Fake Market, Tea Market) and helped me haggle to get the best price. By the end of the 2 days, she felt more like a friend than a tour guide. I can't recommend her enough if you're looking for someone to take you around Shanghai and the surrounding areas! Read less

I hired Jin for a work assignment that involved translating during face to face interviews and on the go with people in the street. Her English was very good and she managed this assignement perfectly. I also really enjoyed her bubbly personality and resourcefulness. She is hard working and friendly. Would definitely recommend her!

Xu Jin was amazing ! I booked a 2 day guided trip for my mum and grandfather as I working in shanghai. And they really enjoyed themselves telling me how trustworthy and nice she is in addition she brought them to different other interesting places in shanghai only known to locals going the extra mile to accommodate my older grandfather and mother and in addition ensuring the pace of the trip is well planned to their liking....read more

I highly recommend using Jin as your guide. She’s full of energy and knows her way around. Thank you for the great memories, I really enjoyed my time traveling through Tong-Li, Suzhou and Wuxi!

I have been meaning to write this review for a bit.I had to spend some time in Shanghai on a business trip.A friend advised me to use this lady Jin.She was an absolute star from the start to the finish of my time in China.She picked me up at the airport with a lovely warm smile and from then there was nothing she would n`t do to try and help out,improve,or save me money on my trip.She always had a suggestion and her knowledge of what to do,the...read more
