About Me

I am an experienced and licensed tour guide and travel assistant for the whole island, certified by the Sri Lanka Tourist Board.

I understand many cultures from living with them. I've lived in the Netherlands and toured Belgium, Germany, France and other countries.

I am a very relaxed person who can lead you to exciting tour destinations in Sri Lanka and tell you interesting facts about the places we visit including culture, religion, traditions and also environmental conditions. Rain forests, bird habitats, elephants safari and many more!

I have almost 10 years experience as a tour and trekking guide. I look forward to giving a great tour to every guest I meet!

For group tours, I will give the best discounts. You can travel with me alone or in a group to any location in Sri Lanka.

We visited Sri Lanka for our honeymoon. It was our first trip to this country and Chandana helped us learn better the history, way of life, show us the beautiful sites and brought us close to the nature of Sri Lanka. We spent more than 2 weeks with Chandana and managed to tour almost all of Sri Lanka (except the far north).  It was such a great experience.  Chandana made our holiday even better than we could have ever imagined.  He bought fruits and food from locals from us and we managed to see both touristic areas and local areas, including his home where we had a cooking session....read more

Chan is an excellent guide. you should definitely book him if: - you want to see great places and get lots of background on the people, fauna and flora - you want a guide that speaks perfect english (and dutch) - you are travelling with kids - Chan is not only a great guide but also a family father, he perfectly understands the needs of children and adapts the tour accordingly - you want to travel safely in a comfortable car with an excellent driver Chan is adapting to every situation, wish or need and thanks to him we have not only seen many interesting sites but also learned a lot about his great country! We are just back at home from a 12 days trip guided by Mr. Chandana. Mr. Chandana is simply an excellent guide that showed and discovered us this incredible country. He is highly recommendable wit an endless knowledge, in short the best guide we ever had around the world. Chandana was a superlative guide and representative of his country. He was gracious as well as very informative of the flora and fauna of Sri Lanka. He shared with us life in Sri Lanka and took very good care of us and provided any assistance that we needed. He had a spotless and comfortable van with very capable driver. he guided our shopping endeavors. I highly recommend him to all travellers visiting Sri Lanka.
