Welcome! My name is Muluken Girma. I am native Ethiopian from Addis Ababa. I have a ten years experience in tour operating and tour guiding to all the interesting places of Ethiopia. My services are organizing group and individual tours, car rental, and tour guiding. After completion of my elementary and secondary education, I went to Mekelle University to study Accounting and was graduated in Diploma in July 2001.
But I did not find working in Accounting my type. So I decided to study Tourism and joined the Catering and Tourism Training Institute and studied Tour Operation Management for two years and graduated in Diploma with 'Distinctions' ranking in March 2004. From then until August 2009 I worked as a tour operator and tour guide on a permanent basis at two well known tour companies in Addis.
Starting from August 2009, I have been working as a professional English speaking freelancer guide for various companies. I am very passionate for tour organizing and guiding. It is my way of life not only way of making money.
I believe I am your perfect tour guide because :-
- I was born, grew up and lived almost all my life in Addis Ababa which made me know my city very well, naturally
- The professional education I got helped me to know what international visitors would like to experience
- Years of experience I developed with visitors from different countries is a huge resource to internalize what visitors want to see and how to deliver it best
