About Me

I am Mohammad Malekshahi, a guide to Iran nature, culture and Society.  I try my best to provide hiking, mountain climbing, cycling or just traveling by car tours off the beaten track in Iran. 
I am also Co-founder of Start-up company of NomadTours which provides a couple of unique and private sociocultural tours together. Our first goal is to ‘preserve cultural heritage and diversity’, as subcultures are subjected to extinction. Modernization and globalization have been harmful to the local cultural diversity; the result is many of these cultures are exposed to forgetfulness. Nomadic culture holds a library of social, cultural and natural knowledge. The bright side of nomads in Iran is that they are common in several parts; however, the dark side is that they are vulnerable to being exposed by globalization and modernization resulting the extinction of cultural diversity. We do our best to design these tours with no harms to nature and also nomad’s culture. What’s better than a close touch of a tourist who seeks the culture of the nomads, helping them to get to know how wonderful and precious their life is.
