<p>I&rsquo;ve spent many months, over many years, exploring the remoter areas of China. On a recent visit I hired Ebenezer Hui&nbsp;to drive me along the long borders between China and Myanmar, Laos, and Vietnam. This untravelled area is not served by easy public transportation so a hired driver was perfect. Eb, who is from Hong Kong, speaks fluent English (and Chinese Mandarin), and also served in many ways as my guide. He is probably the safest and most cautious driver I have ever had, especially in Asia. He was extremely flexible and was happy to find us a hotel day by day was we went a along the south. His prices are reasonable. I highly recommend him. His usual territorial is Yunnan; he is based in the legendary town of Lijiang. <p>We did a 4 day trip in Lijiang in May 2015 and enjoyed very much the great experience. Ebenezer has been planning the itinerary&nbsp;very thoughtful so that it worked well with our two kids. I was impressed by his deep knowledge and love of nature. He provided good company for us and always provided us with thoughtful details and did great with the kids. He has been always been super reliable and very organized. Will definitively book him again once we are back in Lijiang. <p>I hired Ebenezer for a two day trek to tiger leaping gorge, he is fluent in English, punctual and very organized with a very good &nbsp;knowledge of the surrounding area, he is also passionate about Yunnan, and a very keen photographer. &nbsp; &nbsp;I found him very &nbsp;sensitive to your needs, and really enjoyed the trek, he also organized the overnight accommodation and travel arrangements. &nbsp;Ebenezer was a great choice, and I will definitely hire him again when I return to Yunnan.</p> Read less
