About Me

My name is Hassan Bouaouina. I'm a Moroccan travel agent/tour guide, founder of Bouaouina Tours, working in Morocco since I graduated from the High Institute of Tourism in Tangier. I got my Masters Degree in Cross-cultural and English studies from the university of Fez and I have an international diploma in foreign languages (French, English, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish). I have worked in touring groups, families and individuals for many years now.

What I like about being a tour guide for Morocco? Well my job consists of different aspects such as showing my visitors around Moroccan sights, giving the best knowledge I have about my culture and especially Berber culture, language, people and history. I love explaining and teaching people about what Morocco has to offer from its high mountains down to the magnificent sand dunes in the desert of both Erg Chebbi and Erg Chegaga to its huge and clean oceans. I like being in the heart of the old civilization made by the Berbers, Phoenicians ,Romans, at the mid-age era by the leaders of different tribes who made Morocco such a tolerant and very open place to welcome all races and religions of humans on earth. I love going back and talking about the great Moroccan dynasties, who ruled and lived in the imperial capitals of the kingdom of Morocco.
