Visiting Tibetan area

We often take guests into Tibetan areas, staying sometimes with Tibetan families.

For many, its a highlight of their trip.

There are a few pointers:

don't point with your fingers at anything;

don't take photos of religious shrines

don't take photos of people without first asking

In monasteries:

go clockwise around the monastery or temple;

take off your hat and sunglasses before entering;

don't make a lot of noise, or take photos of objects or people without permission
