2. In the morning , Visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Shaanxi History Museum in the morning. The Shaanxi History Museum offers a full display of historic relics mainly excavated in the Province.

The Provincial Museum:One of the main museums in China which holds numerous unearthed cultural relics of China.The Shaanxi History Museum, a massive modern museum up to the national standard, is located one kilometer away, northwest of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It is a magnificent architectural com- plex in the Tang-dynasty style. It covers an area of 70,000 square metres, construction area being over 50,000 square metres. It collects the highlights of the Shaanxi culture and shows a development of the Chinese civilization. Considering the position of Shaanxi Province in the Chinese history, the state invested 1.44 billion yuan in the establishment of the Shaanxi History Museum just to fulfil late Premier Zhou Enlai's will.
陕西历史博物馆：是一座综合性历史类博物馆。位于中国陕西省西安市雁塔区的小寨东路91号（大雁塔西北侧）。是中国第一座拥有现代化的设施的大型国家级博物馆。是“4A”级旅游景点。陕西历史博物馆馆藏文物370,000余件，上起远古人类初始阶段使用的简单石器，下至1840年前社会生活中的各类器物，时间跨度长达一百多万年。中国历史上强盛的周、秦、汉、唐等王朝曾在陕西西安附近建都，拥有丰富的文化遗存，深厚的文化积淀，文物数量多、种类全，品位高、价值广，其中有精美的商、周青铜器，千姿百态的历代陶俑，以及汉、唐金银器，唐墓壁画。堪称陕西悠久历史和文化的象征。陕西历史博物馆被誉为“华夏珍宝库”和“中华文明的瑰丽殿堂”。
Ancient City Walls :The first landmark visitors will encounter in Xi'an is the ancient city wall, which stretches round the old city.The City Wall of Xi'an was established in the 3rd year of Hongwu Period of the Ming Dynasty(1370 A.D.) in a rectangular form with a perimeter of 13.79 km and an area of 11.47 km2. It is 12 meters tall, 14 meters wide at the top and 18 meters thick at the base with 18 gates and a surrounding moat, being the only best preserved large ancient fortress in China.

3. Before having lunch you will have 45 minutes to visit Xi'an Phoenix Embrodiery Factory. Its main products include mechanical embroidery, manual embroidery, tie-dyeing, silk blankets, embroidered clothes, all kinds of art ware.

4. Visit Bell Tower and Great Mosque. The Great Mosque is one of the Largest and best preserved the mosques of China.Back to your hotel in the afternoon.

Bell TowerThe Bell Tower of Xi'an stands at the centre of the city with four main streets radiating from it in four directions linking the four gates in the city wall. It was built in 1384 and is 36 meters high. Originally a huge bell hanging beneath its roof served to give battle signals for the city's defence system. The tower has a 6-metre high archway on each side and a circular staircase leads to the top story
