Morning: 08:30 AM
Pick up at your hotel
We begin by visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum,learning about his journey from a student to the president of Vietnam, as well as seeing the Presidential Palace, and his residential place.
We then will be traveling next to the Temple of Literature – the place of the first University & Temple for Confucius in Vietnam, followed by a chance to see the performance of traditional music.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant
In the afternoon, pick up some of the most interesting museums for a journey back to the past:
Museum of Ethnology: Display of 54 ethnicities of Vietnam, their traditional houses and life-style
Women Museum: Dedicated to the heroic women in Vietnam, their traditional roles and special roles during war time
Hoa Lo Prison: Sarcastically named "Hilton Hotel" by American POW (prisoner of war). The prison was originally built by French for Vietnamese political prisoners and later used by Vietcong goverment for American soldiers. This also where John Mccain (Senator of the U.S, running for presidents in 2016) stayed for 4 years.
History Museum: Cover most of Vietnam's history with focus on Vietnam - America war time
Then, walking back around Hoan Kiem lake and sneaking into a hide-away coffee shop in the Old Quarter to explore the vibrant life of young locals and observe the mesmerizing blends of traditional and modern Hanoi.
