Yu Garden as one of the best gardens south of the Yangtze River , also best-known of the five historic gardens of Shanghai, it has a lot to offer, no matter in the sight of beauty or its richful culture.
Join me to hear these authentic stories about the garden and get know more Chinese culture, we will pass through the old city temple area, which full of traditional shops and restaurants, and all of the houses in ancient style, surrounding the Yu Garden you will find many special Shanghai style snacks, you can either have a tasty of it before or after we visiting the garden.
Inside the garden we will explore around, including the inner garden that joined the original one in 1956, enchanting by the pond, plants , stones, made the garden such elegant , we will see the views while feed the gold fish in the ponds, and you will also discover so many sculptures, in the shape of human figures and animals, not even mention there are other details on the walls, on the windows waiting for us to find.
ITINERARY:
Gathering up at Yu Garden metro station exit 3 where I will hold your names to pick you up
Walking to Yu Garden through a nice park and old city temple (about 10 minutes)
Getting in the garden, walking through it while listening the history of it
Exiting the garden , trying some traditional shanghai dainty snacks at the old city temple area， such as xiao long bao, sheng jian etc
Saying goodbye at the same Yu Garden metro station
