Tour Description

These following are the best sights you will not miss during 9 days

1- Private reptile park where you can see 5 species of nocturnal lizards or the leaf-tailed geckos, 3 species of snakes, 10 species of chameleons, 3 species of frogs

2- Vakona park and Andasibe National park, where you can spot at least 5 species of lemurs ( diurnal and nocturnal lemur)

3- Ankanin'ny nofy, at this location, you must see the nocturnal lemur called AYE-AYE, and 7 more lemurs species

4- Ivoloina park, you will still be able to see more wild life creature in this park

5- Nice beach at Foulpoint and an historical tour at Foulppoint wall. This allows you to learn about the story of the king who built his palace in the east coast of Madagascar.

ITINERARY

1st Day:  YOUR ARRIVAL IN ANTANANARIVO AIRPORT BY INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT 

  • Get pick up at the airport upon your arrival and transfer to your Hotel.
  • Overnight in the Hotel. Les relais des plateaux
  • I will bring a label JEAN CLAUDE TOUR in hands when I welcome you at the airport upon your arrival

2ND DAY:  PRIVATE CAR RIDE TO ANDASIBE  

  • Meet you at your Hotel at 7:00am
  • Depart from Antananarivo at 8:00am and drive towards he eastern 
  • Stop by at reptiles park around 10:00am, 
  • Visit through the park during 1 hour by feet TO TAKE PICTURES OF 10 SPECIES OF CHAMELEONS, 7 SPECIES OF LIZARDS, 2 SPECIES OF SNAKES AND 2 SPECIES OF FROGS
  • Keep driving to Andasibe after the visit
  • Arrive in Andasibe around 1:00pm
  • Lunch in the restaurant
  • Around 3:00pm, transfer to lemur's island park
  • Visit 3 small islands in the park to watch very close up 5 species of lemurs. The visit lasts 1 hour, partly will be done by canoeing ride and partly by feet
  • Transfer back to your Hotel around 5:00pm
  • Arrive in your Hotel around 5:3000pm
  • Around 7:00pm Experience the night walk along the National Park side to see the nocturnal lemur, the smallest lemur in this area is the mouse lemur.
  • Get back to your Hotel around 8:00pm
  • Dinner in the restaurant
  • Stay overnight at Feon''ny ala Hotel. Bed and breakfast

3RD DAY: HEAD TO ANKANIN'NY NOFY ON BOARD A CAR AND A SPEEDY BOAT   

  • Meet you at your Hotel at 7:00am
  • Transfer to Andasibe National park office  to pick up your local guide
  • Visit through Andasibe NP by feet during 3 hours and accompagnied by the local guide to spot mainly the biggest lemur in Madagscar named Indri indri and 2 another species of lemurs, the bamboo lemur and the common brown lemur
  • After the walk in the rainfores, transfer back to your Hotel
  • Lunch in the restaurant
  • After lunch, ride to Manambato village on board the private car
  • Arrive in Manambato around 4:00pm and immediately get on board a speedy boat
  • Ride to Ankanin'ny nofy on board the speedy boad
  • Arrive in Ankanin'ny nofy around 6:00pm
  • Dinner in the restaurant
  • Stay overnight at Ankanin'ny nofy Hotel (B&B)

4TH DAY : A FULL DAY  STAYNG AT ANKANIN'NY NOFY OR THE NEST OF DREAM  

  • Meet you at your Hotel at 7:00am
  • Around 8:30am, start the walk in the forest to spot more species of lemurs, chameleons and birds and to see the vanilla plantation accompagnied by the local guide provided by the hotel.
  • Get back to your Hotel around 11:00am
  • Lunch in the restaurant
  • in the afternoon, relax on the beach in front of your Hotel
  • Around 7:00pm, get on board a speedy boat and ride to aye-aye island where you will spot the aye-aye lemur in the night.
  • Around 9:00pm, get back to your Hotel 
  • late dinner in the restaurant
  • Stay overnight at Ankanin'ny nofy Hotel

5TH DAY: GET ON BOARD A SPEEDY BOAT AND RIDE TO TOAMASINA  

  • Meet you at your Hotel at 6:00am
  • Earlier depature from Ankanin'ny nofy just after the breakfast in the restaurant
  • Riding along the famous pahgalana chanel to admire its biodiversty along the both sides and the local villages along the channel as well. 
  • Our own private car will wait for us in Toamasina, at the dock
  • Our boat arrives at the dock around 11;00am in Toamasina
  • The driver will pick us up from the dock
  • Get transfer to our Hotel
  • Lunch in the restaurant
  • In the afternoon, sightseeing in Toamasina city to see the local  market, the avenue of independance, the biggest mining company in Madagscar, Ambatovy and having a soft drinks with barbecus on the beach
  • Late in the afternoon, ride back to your Hotel
  • Dinner in the restaurant
  • Stay overnight at Neptune Hotel (bed and breakfast)

6TH DAY: VISIT AT IVOLOINA PARK AND STAYING IN VILLAGE OF FOULPOINTE  

  • Meet you at your Hotel at 8:00am
  • Depart from your Hotel on board our private car to Ivoloina park around 8:30am
  • Arrive at Ivoloina park around 9:00am
  • Visit at Ivoloina park to see more lemurs speicies, snakes, lizards, tortoises, spiders, fogs and some birds species accompagnied by the local guide 
  • After the visit, keep driving to Foulpointe village 
  • Stop by at  ''le restaurant the cruise'' for lunch around 1:00pm
  • After lunch, slowly driving to reach Foulpointe village
  • Arrive in Foulpointe around 5;00pm
  • The Hotel is just built on the sea side and you can enjoy the nice and clean beach
  • Dinner in the restaurant
  • Stay overnight at Manda beach Hotel (bed and breakfast)

7TH DAY : FULL DAY RELAX TO ADMIRE THE BEAUTIFUL BEACH OF FOULPOINTE  (AT YOUR OWN LEISURE)  

  • We can meet at anytime according our briefing on the previous day, 
  • Possible visit we can do in Foulpoint village is a cultural tour in the village which allows you to learn about the story of the village back to 200 years ago.
  • Possible to have a multiple activities such as snorkeling, boat riding, natural swimming pool visit in the ocean 

8TH DAY: RIDE TO TOAMASINA AND FLY TO ANTANANARIVO  

  • Depending on your flight schedule from Toamasina to Antananarivo, I will pick you up from your Hotell and then we will ride to Toamasina.
  • We must be at the airport 2 hours prior of your flight departure
  •  Fly to Antananrivo upon the given schdule flight
  • Me and the driver will keep riding back to Antananarivo and 
  • Another driver will pick you from the airport in Antananarivo and ensures your transfer to the Hotel
  • Stay overnight in Antananarivo at les Relais des plateaux

9TH DAY : FLY OUT TO ABROAD  

  • Depending on your flight schedule, the driver from the Hotel will take you to the airport and you must be at the airport 2 hour prior to your flight departure

-Covid-19 pass is not mandatory at the airport

-If you stay less than 15 days in Madagascar, you do not pay any visa

-Most shops and business do not accept any foreign currencies, you have to use local currency (MGA) during the tour

-ATM machines are available in all big cities in Madagascar

-Never do your money exchange with the black markets in the streets  or at the car park near the airport. Do only your money exchange at the official banks

-when  you bring USD bills cash, make sure the bills are issued AFTER 2012. No money changer accepts any bills issued BEFORE 2012

-Hiring park guides are mandatory when you visit any parks in Madagascar. Both National Park and Private parks

-The hotel where you will say has wifi only in the restaurant
