Day 04

Destinations: Kunming, Mi'le, Puzhehei, Luliang, Yuanmou.

Avaliable: Daily (all-in private tour, travel with your own family and friends!)

In this tour, you will visit three kinds of world famous landscapes - the stone forest, the sand forest and the land forest! Those 3 kinds of landscapes are all very different and they offer the beautiful photography sources within one tour, which is very special! Meanwhile, you will also visit the Puzhehei Scenic Resort which is the wonderland with beautiful lakes and mountains. Besides that, you will also have the close touch with the minority villagers and experience the culture along the way, this tour is indeed one of the most valued tour in Yunnan in this year!

This is a tour which is suitable for travelling during the spring, summer and autume. However, if you are a photography fans, we would suggest you to take this tour between July - September, in order to catch the most amazing moments with your camera!

Day 01 Kunming

You will be greeted by our tour guide and transferred to check in at your hotel. (overnight in Kunming)

Day 02 Kunming

Today we will visit the first wonder of Yunnan - Stone Forest, after that, we will visit the “Yunnan Pu’er Tea Exchange Centre” to enjoy one of the most famous tea in China – Pu’er tea, and learn about the famous southern China silk road - tea horse road culture. In the evening, we will enjoy the most traditional and famous dish in Yunnan – “Across Bridge Rice Noodles” as dinner.  (B/L/D, overnight in Kunming)

Day 03 Kunming-Mi’le

Our tour guide will meet you up in the lobby of your hotel. Today we will drive to Mi’le, enjoy the hot spring baths in your hotel. Mi’le is abundant with geothermal resources. Hot springs of various sizes are scattered all over the county. The Huquan (or lake spring) Ecological Park is reputed to be the most beautiful hot spring in Mi’le. It is a comprehensive recreational center built with artificial beaches, tea houses, an amusement park and hot spring spas. (B/L/D, overnight in Spa hotel in Mi’le) 

Day 04 Mi’le-Puzhehei

Today we will drive to Puzhehei, Puzhehei Scenic Resort is located in northwest Qiubei County, which is a fairyland from which visitor can have a panoramic view of clear lakes and pond full of lotus, emerald mountains and enchanting karsts landscape. This charming country is also an ideal place to view the pomp in festivals of the Yao, Miao, Huang and Yi minorities. July to September is the best time to admire the most beautiful country landscape of Puzhehei, because the lotus blossoms are in their florescence. Girls of the Zhuang ethnic group dressed in folk costumes which are adorned with jingling silver ornaments and embroidery, row little wooden boats and send visitors along the winding 21-km water corridor through Luoshuidong Lake, Puzhehei Lake and Xianren Lake. Day 05 Puzhehei-Luliang

Today, we will drive to Luliang (nearly 5 hours), take a visit to Colored Sand Forest. Unlike the common beach sand, the Luliang Sand Forest is a combination of sand and stone that cumulate as prominences and mounts. The glory of reflection from the sunshine reproduces a magnificent view of its distinctive character quite like the Stone Forest, but a finer version. The main tinges here are yellow, white, red and grey. The Colorful Sand Forest came into being about 340 million years ago. It is also a whole consisting of all kinds of sand posts, sand peaks and sand screens. In addition, engraving with sand will sure give you a different feeling. Then drive back to Kunming. Day 06 Kunming- Yuanmou

Today, we will drive to Yuanmou, take a visit to Land Forest (Soil Forest / Earth Forest). The Earth Forest came into being since geological movement and soil erosion one or two million years ago. Its shape looks like an immense forest and the main component is earth, so it is named Earth Forest. The Earth Forest, the Stone Forest in Kunming and the Colorful Sand Forest in Luliang are called "the Three Forests in Yunnan". Drive back to Kunming in the late of afternoon. Day 07 Departure

After breakfast, our tour guide and driver will bring you to Kunming airport. Goodbye and hope to see you again in beautiful Yunnan! (B)
