GHOREPANI TREK(TREK,TEMPLE AND Jungle)

 

Days 01 :ARRIVAL
Arrive at Tribhuwan international airport, Kathmandu, you are welcomed by the hospitable meeting and then you will be transferred to your hotel. Short briefing will be followed about necessary formalities and rest of the program. Depending on arrival time you will have choice of visiting nearby sanctuaries or have a rest day.

Days 02 :sIGHTSEEING OF KATHMANDU CITY, PATAN CITY AND SWOYAMBHUNATH STUPA
After breakfast we drive to Swoyambhunatha stupa has it that Manjushree, found of Kathmandu valley, and discovered the lotus of ancient valley lake on which site the great stupa of swoyambhunath was later built. The omni sighted stare of Buddha greets visitors & residents a like compassion. This is one of the oldest Buddhist stupa in the world, which has been registered in UNICEOO heritage side. We then visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square. Kathmandu durbar square situated the center of Kathmandu where you can see the House of Living Goddess”KUMARI” Kasthamandup temple” Said that was built from single tree in 16th century, big bell-big drams, erotic carving in old temple, old palace etc. We then finally were sightseeing to Patan Durbar Square. Patan Durbar square is one of the beautiful Durbars square in Kathmandu valley. It is very famous for woodcarving, Metal works, Temples and Monasteries. Tour of Patan includes tour of Krishna temple, Patan king’s palace, Golden temple and much more.

Days 03 : DRIVE TO POKHARA
You have breakfast being of the early morning before 7:00 AM. This morning you will be drive to Pokhara (200km), departure at 7:00 AM in the morning, approximately 6hrs away by tourist bus. You will be arriving late afternoon at Pokhara approximately 2:00 O’clock. From the Pokhara valley you can see one of the most beautiful Himalayan panoramas in the world. The Annapurna and famous "Fishtail" mountain peak of Machhapuchhare tower over the tropical setting of Pokhara and you spend there will be the scenic highlight of your trip. You're free in Pokhara valley also called "Magic Land" or Dreamland" of Nepal, to explore the various interesting place as your own like boating in Fewa lake over looking the region of Annapurna range of Himalayas. In the evening you will prepare yourself for your trek to Ghorepani trek.

Days 04 :TREK TO TIRKHEDHUNGA
After breakfast we drive to Nayapul (42km) by bus via large village of Lumle and walk about 20 minutes to Birethanti, a large and prosperous town. The trail follows the main street of Birethanti, going through bamboo forests and passes a large waterfall and swimming hole. Beyond a pasture used by pony caravans, the trail reaches Sudami where you have Lunch. After lunch climb steadily up the side of the valley, reaching Tirekhedhunga at (1491m). Along the way, various hamlets offer ample camping possibilities but if Ghorepani is the objective for the next day it is better to push on to Ulleri.

Days 05 :TREK TO GHOREPANI
From Tirkhedhunga the trail crosses a stream on a suspension bridge near the campsite at Tirkhedhunga. The trail ascends a steep stone staircase to the large Magar village Ulleri at (2070m) above the village where the trail climbs gently through pastures and cultivated fields. There are magnificent more pleasantly through rhododendron and oak forest. The trail crosses two sparkling clear two streams before making a short, final climb to Nangethanti where our lunch will set. Thanti is a Nepali words meaning "rest house" "Dharmasala". In the winter the trail can be covered with snow. From Nangethanti about one hour trek, climb to Ghorepani at (2850m) Arrive at the top of the Ghorepani pass and camp there.

Days 06 :SUNRISE?"POON HILL" ,TREK TO TADAPANI
Wake up early in the morning at 5:30 AM and start to your journey climb to Poon Hill (3200m) around 1hr to provide better unobstructed views and sunrise over the high Himalayas. You can see a lots of White Mountain peaks from Poon Hill. After sunrise, we will return to our camp for the breakfast. After breakfast we climbing along the ridge in pine and rhododendron forests to a top (3030m) then descend to at a second pass also called Deurali, at (3160m). Then steep descent becomes more gentle way to reaches Banthanti and stop for Lunch from Banthanti, the trail follow the stream down to a bridge where the trails start climbing, leaving the most high mountain forests and entering a field of cane, making some ups and downs pass to a vantage point "Tadapani (2640m) that offers a brief view of the mountains. Tadapani means, "Far water". The village water supply is a long distance; it takes porters more than half an hour to fetch a load of water.

Days 07 : tREK TO GHANDRUNG
The Ghandrung trails descend steeply from Tadapani, through forests, a short steep descend among rocks lead to a stream crossing, then the descent continues gently pass over streams. Ghandrung a huge Gurung village at (1940m) is the second largest Gurung village in Nepal. Ghandrung offer a superb view of Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Annapurna III and Machhapuchhare. ACAP has visitor centre and an office in Ghandrung and provides offers information about it activities.
Days 08 : TREK TO DHAMPUS
From Ghandrung, we descends to the Modi river and climb up to Landrung, another Gurung village then we continues walk to Tolka a small settlement at (1710m) with several lodges along the trails. The trails climb through forests alive with birds, fern and orchids in to a huge side canyon of the Modi Khola. After crossing a stream on a suspension bridge at (1690m), the trails climb Bichok (also known as Bheri Kharka). The trails climbs through forests to a clearing on the top of the hill at (2010m) where there are views of mountains can be see from Deurali and break 1 hour for lunch. From Deurali all way is downhill to Dhampus at (1580m). It takes approx. 2 and ½ hour. The trails down through Pothana pass a police cheek post. At Dhampus, you are rewards with great views of the mountains that continue to improve as you ascend along the ridge. .
Days 09 :TREK TO PHEDI. DRIVE TO POKHARA
From Dhampus, all the way downhill through the village to Phedi. Starting at an elevation of (1580m) in a village and then forests that is so overgrazed that is look like a manicured municipal park, the trail down steeply to the ridge at Phedi at (1080m). It takes approx: 2 hours treks catch our vehicles and drive to Pokhara. Our lunch serve in Pokhara. After Lunch you are free as your own in Pokhara.

Days 10 : DRIVE TO CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast scenic drive to Trisuli River till rafting spot point. This River is very popular as access to the Prithivi Highway makes "breaking off" the journey easy. After 3/4hrs rafting we drive to Chitwan National Park upon arrival, rooms assigned and there will be a short briefing on the program and our facilities.

Days 11 :CHITWAN EXKURSION
Wake up call followed by tea or coffee, and then proceed on a Nature Walk: This encounter on foot with the environment will introduce the main features of eastern Chitwan. Sal forest, open grassland and reverie jungle. Our guides will help you identify some species of birds, plants and other wildlife that you may encounter. Around 8:30AM breakfast will serve. After breakfast we process on Elephant-back safari: Guests will ride on an elephant to explore the jungle and wildlife you will be able to see the one-horned rhinoceros, several types of deer, monkeys, wild boar, bison, sloth bear, leopard and, if lucky, the Royal Bengal tiger. This exciting ride lasts for 2-3 hours. Lunch will be serving around 1.00 PM: After lunch we have Canoeing Trip: A traditional dugout canoe takes you on a silent trip down the Rapti River to view aquatic birds and the animals of the riverbanks. Back to resort through the Jungle. In the evening, Tharu Stick dance show: Farmers of the nearby villages will show some of their traditional skills and dances.

Days 12 :DRIVE TO KATHMANDU
Early wake up call followed by tea or coffee, and then proceed on a Bird Watching after breakfast luggage down and departure around 9.30 AM to Kathmandu.

Days 13 : SIGHTSEEING OF PHASUPATINATH, BHAKTAPUR CITY AND BOUDHANATH STUPA
After breakfast drive to Pashupatinath. The holiest of holy Hindu temple in south Asia is the focal point of pilgrimage from all over the sub-continent. The holy river Bagmati flowing nearby is the cremation ground of the Hindus. Funeral pyres can be viewed from across the riverbank. We then visit to Boudhanath stupa. Probably the largest stupa in the world is also found in Kathmandu valley the great stupa of Boudhanath. Again the omni-sighted eyes of the Budha stare all the directions. This stupa is the place of worship of Tibetan Buddhists predominantly. We then drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Bhaktapur is one of the oldest cities in Kathmandu valley. It is well known as Living Museum. Old brick paved enclave of old Royal palace, Nyathapola Temple, Datatriya temple exquisite artwork offers a picture of the grandeur of medieval Nepal. It is very famous for woodcarving and pottery products. Then after we have short visit to Changunarayan temple. This is one of the oldest Hindu temples in Kathmandu valley that exists in the valley dating back to the 4th century.
Days 14 :DEPATURE
After breakfast you will have some free time until the time to leave the international airport for your final departure
