18 day western, northern and central Iran tour
Tour Description
Day1: Arrival in Imam Khomeini Intl airport (in the early morning or in the evening the day before), transfer to hotel, have some hours rest, have breakfast in hotel and then start Tehran city tour. We could start the city tour by visiting "Sa'd Abad Palace Garden Complex", then have lunch. We will visit "National Museum of Iran" afternoon and in the evening, we could visit "Milad Tower Complex" to see the panoramic view of Tehran city and lights. At the end of day, have dinner, stay overnight in Tehran.
Day 2: After having Breakfast in hotel and checking out, we will head to Rasht via Chalous road and along Caspian Sea and will enjoy "Cable Cabin" in Ramsar city en-route to have a splendid view of sea and mountains. Stay overnight in Rasht with locals and have Gilani local foods.
Day 3: Breakfast in hotel and check out, leave Rasht for Astara and visit "Masouleh Village" with breathtaking landscape and nice traditional Bazaar and unique structure of houses. We can have a 2 hours hike through dense forest to reach "Rud Khan Castle". Stay overnight in Astara in my private villa in mountain and overlooking Caspian Sea and city. You will be treated by local foods in my parent's house to have an idea about Iranian lifestyle and family atmosphere.
Day 4: Breakfast in local house, then we will leave Astara for Tabriz and visit "Heyran" area and its winding way, "Sheikh Safi Addin Mausoleum (WH)" in Ardabil, we could enjoy the hot mineral springs in Sar'ein city and then continue toward Tabriz. Stay overnight in Tabriz.
Day 5: After having breakfast in hotel, we will have full day Tabriz city tour. We will start by visiting "Azerbaijan Museum" and then "Blue Mosque" and "Iron-Age Cemetery". Then will continue our tour by wandering in "Tabriz Grand Bazaar (WH)" which is the largest roofed Bazaar in the world. After covering Bazaar and visiting its "Carpet Bazaar (Mozaffariyyeh Timcheh)", we will leave Tabriz for "Kandovan Village" and after visiting super unique structure of village, stay overnight in a Rocky hotel equipped by Jacuzzi panel using mineral water comes from mountains that the rooms of hotel has been caved in.
Day 6: We will leave Kandovan for Sanandaj and visit "Takhte Soleyman (WH) Historical Site". Then you could climb to reach a special natural attraction as "Zendane Soleyman" which is a crater 60 meters diameter. Stay overnight in Sanandaj. (We could spend one night more in this area, Howraman village, and stay with loclas in old style stone-made houses with a brilliant friendly atmosphere).
Day7: Leave Sanandaj for Kermanshah and will visit "Bistoun Historical Site (WH)" around Kermanshah, then "Taq Bostan Historical Site" (relief and inscriptions), "Moaven Al Molk and Biglar Beigi Historical Houses (religious centers)". Stay overnight in Kermanshah.
Day 8: After having breakfast in hotel, we will leave Kermanshah for Shushtar and visit "Falakol Aflak Castle (Anthropological Museum-Lorish people and Nomads)" en-route. Stay overnight in a historical house changed to hotel in Shushtar.
Day 9: Have a tour to visit "Ancient Hydraulic Systems (WH)" in Shushtar and then "Tchoqazanbil Zigorat (WH)" around Shushtar. If we could manage our time properly based on the number of travelers, we could make a visit to "Haft Tappeh Museum and ancient Hills" then back to Shushtar. Stay overnight in Shushtar.
Day 10: After having breakfast, we will leave Shushtar for Shiraz and visit "Bishapour Old City" en-route. Stay overnight in Shiraz.
Day 11: After having breakfast in hotel, we will have full day Shiraz city tour to visit attractions. First, "Nasir Al Molk Mosque" where is famous for nice reflection of light through colorful glasses in the morning. Then we will visit "Narenjestane Qavaam" where has a brilliant garden and fully decorated building by glass and plaster works. Then we could walk through "Vakil old Bazaar" and have lunch in old Sharzeh restaurant. Then we could visit "Karim Khan Citadel" and "Eram Garden (WH)". At the end of day, we could visit "Sa'di and Hafez Mausoleums". Stay overnight in Shiraz.
Day 12: Leave Shiraz for Yazd and visit "Persepolis (WH)", "Naqshe Rostam" and "Pasargadae (WH)" historical sites en-route. We will have lunch in a traditional resort in Sa'adat Shahr to enjoy the nice decorations and have local foods and see some Nomad cultural elements. Stay overnight in Yazd.
Day 13: In Yazd, you will stay in historical house which has changed to hotel. After breakfast, we will start Yazd city tour by walking among the old city to see the desert style urban structure especially the most famous element the "Wind Towers". Then we will reach the "Great Mosque of Yazd", then we continue our walk toward "Amir Chakhmaq Square". After visiting square, we will visit "Water Museum" which is the best place to understand the way of managing water and technology of "Qanat". After lunch, we will go to see "Zoroastrian Silence Towers", "Zoroastrian Fire Temple" and in the evening we could make a visit to "Dowlat Abad Garden (WH)". Stay overnight in Yazd.
Day 14: After breakfast, we will leave Yazd for Isfahan and have a stop in "Varzaneh" between Isfahan and Na'ien to have desert experience, ((Safari using 4WD cars and walk on the sand dunes)), have local food, then visit some unique attractions like: "Pigeon House", "Cow-Well" and "Camel-Mill". Stay overnight in Isfahan.
Day 15: After having breakfast, we will visit to attractions in Isfahan city located around "Naqshe Jahan Square (WH)": "Imam Mosque", "Aali Qapu Palace" and "Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque". You could visit handicraft shops around square to buy souvenirs. Afternoon we could visit Abbasi hotel which is the oldest hotel in Iran and enjoy its beautiful yard and great decorations in different parts and have snack in restaurant or tea house in the yard. We will visit "Khajou and Sio Se Pol Historical Bridges" in the evening to see the lights and gathering of local people around and under bridges. Stay overnight in Isfahan.
Day 16: Have a half day Isfahan city tour. We could start our visit to "Great Mosque of Isfahan (WH)" where has had over 1000 year construction. Then we will visit historical "Vank and Bethlehem Churches" in Armenian area of Isfahan where is famous for nice coffee shops serving high quality coffee. After having lunch, we will visit "Chehel Sotoun Palace Garden" and then leave Isfahan for Kashan and visit "Abyaneh Ancient Village" en-route. Stay overnight in Kashan.
Day 17: Kashan is well-known for the elegant historical houses decorated by wooden doors and windows (Orossi) and plaster and mirror works. We will visit two the best houses: "Abbasiyan and Tabatabaie Historical Houses" in the morning after visiting "Aqa Bozorg Mosque-Madrasa" with very unique architecture. After historical houses, we will visit "Soltan Amir Ahmad Historical Hammam (old bathroom)" which is the best example for old bathrooms in Iran. Then we will go to "Kashan old Bazaar" to soak in the environment and have a tea in "Aminoddoleh Timcheh" where is the center of carpet in Kashan Bazaar. After having lunch, we will visit "Siyyalk ancient Hills" and then "Fin Garden (WH)". We will leave Kashan for Tehran in the evening. Stay overnight in Tehran.
Day 18: After breakfast in hotel, we will have a full day Tehran city tour to cover attractions in downtown. We will first visit "Golestan Palace Complex (WH)" and then walk to visit "Tehran Grand Bazaar" especially "Carpet Bazaar" which is one of the places that you can see and buy Persian and Nomad carpets. After having lunch, we will visit "National Jewels Museum" where is full of magnificent jewelry masterpieces belonged to Iranian kings. After visiting jewels museum, you will have free time to do whatever you want like shopping. Of course we could fill your time by visiting "Glassware Museum" or "Carper Museum". Stay overnight in Tehran.
Day 19: We will pick you up from hotel and transfer you to Imam Khomeini Intl Airport to depart to your country. Hope you are satisfied with our services and happy with your trip.
