Visit to Peng Chau
A six-hour trip to Peng Chau, by far the smallest of the inhabited islands of Hong Kong, at only 1.43 km2 it packs many interesting sights. This island used to be a major industrial base of Hong Kong, only remnants of which remain now after all factories closed in the 1970s. The local movie theater closed a little later.
Main attractions include several temples, the remains of the old factories and the Fisherman's Rock.
Many departure times possible, also afternoon departures are an option. Please contact me for details.
Price includes guide fee.
Extra cost: taxi your hotel to ferry pier and back, lunch, ferry tickets (about HKD 80 per person).
