This short 3-day tour takes you to sample the flavor of Sichuan. And explore why Sichuan gains its beautiful name at Dujiangyan irrigating system
Day by Day Itinerary:
Day1 Home/Chengdu(by air)
On arrival you will be warmly welcome by our guide and driver, we probably drive about half hour to the hotel for check in. This evening is free for you to explore the downtown area if time permitted.
Day2 Dujiangyan irrigating system/Mt. Qingcheng/Chengdu
This morning we drive about 1.5 hours to visit Dujiangyan irrigating system. For thousands of years, Sichuan gains its name of land of honey and milk, the only reason is that Sichuan seldom suffers droughts and floods since Dujiangyan irrigating system is finished in Qin dynasty.
After tour in Dujiangyan, we head for the holy Daoism mountain, have a 2-3hour circular hike on the back part of Mt. Qingcheng.
later afternoon we drive back to Chengdu.
Day3 Panda Breeding center/Wangjianglou Park/Home
This morning we drive about hour to the panda breeding center, for those wildlife lovers, this is a quite unique chance to observe those cute pandas.
After our tour in Panda breeding centre, we drive back to downtown area for our lunch, afternoon we walk around Wangjiang park, enjoy the tea time and relax ourselves.
A fare ware dinner is arranged before departure.
