Start from the early morning, probably 2 hours drive( wherever you stay in Lijiang or Dali ), Shaxi is a very important town of The ancient tea horse road, that is their local weekly market in each Friday, the local people sale some local special products and also can se the horse and donkey exchange market. Also have lunch in Shaxi town. Then drive few minutes to Shibaoshan mountain, you can feel the strong Buddhism culture and also can see the cave there, also can see the monkeys. In the end , drive back to hotel.
