Sichuan Wild Trails Hiking 4 Days - No Tourist Parks No Crowds Guaranteed
This is a trekking tour that explores the wildest part of Sichuan within 4 days. Each day involves necessary driving but the hikings are truely amazing wild trails and no tourists at all!
Day 01Chengdu - Kangding
Drive from Chengdu in the morning for around 4 hours and arrive in Kangding. After lunch drive up Yajiageng Road Pass and walk to Lamoshe Base Camp and above for the rest of the day. Go high to acclimatize yourself before drive back down to Kangding after 4pm. Overnight in Kangding.
Day 02 Kangding - Rengko Monastery Hike -Xinduqiao
Drive over Zheduo Road Pass after a morning visit to Namo Monastery, the biggest monastery in Kangding. By Zheduo Pass there is a 4300-m ridge one can walk to. Afterwards continue drive to Xinduqiao for lunch. In the afternoon drive up Rengko Monastery and start to do a half day walk from this old Monastery to go high up to 4200 meters to gain great views of mountains and valleys. Drive to hotel in Xinduqiao after the hike.
Day 03 Xinduqiao - Anigongma Village - Grassland Hike - Tagong
In the morning drive to Anigongma Village and visit the nunnery and Muya Grand Temple before a 14km ridgeline walk in Tagong Grassland. Today is a full day walk on Tagong Grassland, great views and quiet nature, may encouter yaks and will walk by local villages and maybe nomads settlement. After the walk go to check in hotel in Tagong.
Day 04 Tagong - Chengdu
In the early morning go see the people walking around Tagong Monastery and have a visit to this 1200-year-old temple before a full day drive back to Chengdu. Tour ends.
