Itinerary ( 7nights / 8days )

At Egypt Tours we always aim to provide accurate information for our travelers. Unfortunately information such as the price of optional activities is occasionally subject to change, and this means that we are constantly revising our trip notes. In order to ensure that you have the most up to date information for your trip we suggest that you check the trip notes for your tour around one month before departure.
Staffing: Services of representatives and local guides.
Transport: Private air-conditioned transport, sleeper train.
Accommodation: 4 nights tourist class hotels, 2 nights sleeper train.
Activities: Donkey ride and Felucca to Philae.
Meals: As per itinerary (B-Breakfast, L-Lunch, and D-Dinner). Breakfast is provided on every day of the tour, Please allow US$10-15 per day for additional meals.
Tipping: To avoid embarrassment and save your money all tours operate a tipping kitty. Please allow US $18 - 27 per week of the tour for this .

Itinerary ( 7nights / 8 days)
Day 1: Cairo
Meet & assist at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel for check in. Later in the evening we have the opportunity to enjoy Sound & Light Show at Pyramids plateau (optional), overnight hotel. (No Meals)
Day 2: Giza, Saqqara & Memphis
Following breakfast, check out of hotel. The day starts with a guided tour in Giza to visit the legendary majestic Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerionos to view these spectacular man-made monuments. Afterwards a tour of the great Sphinx; guarding the Royal Burial Chambers and temple of Cheops. we will have our Lunch and
Then you will be transferred to Saqqara to visit the step pyramid of Djoser which is considered to be the first Pyramids in the history.
Finally, a visit to Memphis to explore the area and its monuments.
At the end of the day you will be transferred back to your hotel & overnight.
Day 3: Egyptian Museum & Islamic Cairo
Your guide for the day will pick you up and begin your guided tour in the Egyptian Museum which is considered to be the most ancient museum in the world, you will have a guided tour inside to watch the golden treasure of Tut-Ankh-Amun & a great gallery of statues & portraits….etc
Our next stop is in Islamic Cairo - we start at the Citadel fortress with a visit to the Mohammed Ali Mosque (the alabaster mosque). The Citadel that was built by Salah-El-Din in the 12th Century and was the seat of power for the following 700 years. On the premises is the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali, one of the landmarks of Cairo whose minaret can be seen from any part of the city. The Mohammed Ali mosque was built in Turkish style, very similar to the Blue Mosque in Turkey.
Following into Coptic Cairo home of some of the oldest Christian churches in the world and retrace the steps where Mary and Joseph walked thousands of years ago. We will visit the Hanging Church, also known as El Muallaqa that was dedicated to the Virgin Mary and it was believed to have been built at the end of the 3rd century. Built on the outer wall you will see the Greek Church of St. George.

At the end of the day ,you will be transferred to Cairo railway station to take your seating or sleeping train to Aswan & overnight on board in the train.

Day 04 Aswan .

Upon arrival to Aswan railway station, our representative will meet you & you will be transferred to your Nile cruise which will be your home, to check in.and then your guide will take you to visit the High-Dam and Unfinished obelisk. High - Dam: a fine example of a modern Egyptian technology. Unfinished Obelisk: the granite quarries are the location of The famed unfinished obelisk 41 meters long and about 1138 tons.then overnight on board.
Day 05 .
sail to Kom Ombo .visit the temple shared by Sobek and Horoeris,sail to Edfu and overnight.

Day 06 .
visit the temple of hours.sail to Esna ,cross the lock ,sail to Luxor and overnight .

Day 07 .

Cross the west Bank , visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon.the in east bank you will visit the Temple of Karnak,and the templs of Luxor .then you will transfered to the train station to catch your sleeper train back to Cairo and overnight on board.

Day 8: Departure
Transfer to Cairo airport and farewell to the Land of the Pharaohs.

but i prefer train that you can see more of Egypt and more or river nile and houses .

Nile cruise misr travel or thomas cook , King Hotel Cairo ( 3 stars) , or Delta hotel..
