If you come to Shenzhen and want to enjoy a nice day out, you should visit Happy Coast (欢乐海岸), also known as OCT Harbour. It’s located in Nanshan District, near Shenzhen Bay, and is a great place to spend time with friends or family.
The area is quite big—about 1.25 million square meters . There’s a big man-made lake, and you can walk along the water, take photos, or just relax. The environment is very clean and modern, with a mix of nature and city feeling.
There are many things to do here. You can go shopping at O’PLAZA Shopping Center, which has many international brands and nice restaurants. If you like technology, there’s a DJI Flagship Store where you can see the latest drones and even try them out .
For families with kids, there’s the Ocean Wonder House, an aquarium with jellyfish and other sea animals. There’s also a Water Show Theater that has a beautiful fountain show at night with lights and music .
At night, the place becomes very lively. The lights reflect on the water, and there are many bars and cafes where you can sit and enjoy the view. It’s also a popular place for taking photos, especially near the red arch bridge and the lakeside.

If you come to Shenzhen and want to chill near the sea, Sea World is a really good place to visit. It’s not an amusement park like the name might sound. It’s actually a big open area by the water with lots of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and a big old ship called “Minghua”, which is very famous here. The ship is now a hotel and also has some cool restaurants inside.
At night, the place is super lively with music, lights, and people from all over the world. There’s also a water fountain show in the evening, which is very beautiful. You can enjoy the breeze from the sea while walking around or just sit down with a drink and relax.
Also, next to it is Sea World Culture and Arts Center, designed by a famous Japanese architect. It looks very modern and you can see art exhibitions or join some cultural events there.
It’s very easy to go there, just take Shenzhen Metro Line 2, get off at Sea World Station (海上世界站), and you are already there!

If you are interested in Chinese culture, then this place is really worth a visit! China Folk Culture Village is located in Nanshan District, Shenzhen. It’s part of Splendid China theme park, and shows the real lifestyle and tradition of China’s 56 ethnic groups.
Inside the park, you can see many traditional-style villages, all handmade to look very close to the real ones. Each village represents a different ethnic group, like Miao, Yi, Tibetan, Uygur, and so on. You can walk around, take pictures with the buildings, try local snacks, and enjoy live shows with dancing, music, and special festivals.
Sometimes they also do cultural activities like the water-splashing festival from Dai people, or fire-jumping from the Yi group. It's very lively and fun, especially if you come with friends or family.
It’s a great chance to learn more about Chinese minorities, their clothes, songs, and traditions—all in one park. It’s not too serious or boring. Just relax, have fun, and experience something different.

We offer one day trip in Shenzhen by car(10 hours service/day)
We will visit some of the more famous scenic spots here.
1.OCT-LOFT
By far the best place for strolling or simply hanging out in the city is the breezy OCT-LOFT complex, a warren of repurposed communist-era factories criss-crossed by cobbled laneways. It's also a great place to browse a multitude of contemporary art spaces in between pit stops at the area's excellent cafes, design shops, music venues, bars, restaurants and Shēnzhèn's best bookstore.
OCT-LOFT (OCT stands for Overseas Chinese Town) started out, appropriately for Shēnzhèn, as a TV manufacturing base before it was converted into a creative industries hub. Staying here is recommended, if you can snag a room at the hip Shēnzhèn Loft Youth Hostel, formerly a factory workers' dormitory complex. Note that OCT-LOFT isn't actually served by OCT metro station.
2.Windows of the world
The Window of the World is a theme park located in the western part of the city of Shenzhen in the People's Republic of China. It has about 130 reproductions of some of the most famous tourist attractions in the world squeezed into 48 hectares (118 acres). The 108 metre (354 ft) tall Eiffel Tower dominates the skyline and the sight of the Pyramids and the Taj Mahal all in proximity to each other are all part of the appeal of this theme park. You can see famous scenic spots (replicas) all over the world here such as Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Louvre Pyramid,Acropolis,Leaning Tower,Shirasagi Castle,Sphinx of Giza...
3.Shenzhen bay park
The park occupies a 13-kilometre long stretch of reclaimed land along the southern coast of Shenzhen on the north shore of Shenzhen Bay (Deep Bay), starting west near Shenzhen Bay Bridge at Wanghai roadand ending at the Hongshulin Nature Reserve. It spans much of the coastline of Nanshan and Futian districts. It runs along much of the length of Binhai and Binhe Boulevards and occupies an area of 108.07 hectares (267.0518 acres).
The park is divided into two sections, namely Shenzhen Bay Coastal Recreation Zone(深圳湾滨海休闲带) at its South West side and Hongshulin Coastal Ecological Park(红树林海滨生态公园) at its Eastern side. The latter is situated within the Hongshulin Nature Reserve, a habitat of numerous endangered bird species and is also known for its mangrove.
The entire area of the park opened on August 6, 2011, days before the 2011 Summer Universiade that took place in Shenzhen. The Hongshulin Coastal Ecological Park was opened earlier in December 2000. The entire length of the park is motor vehicle-free. Cycle paths and picnic spaces are featured along the park.[2] The park offers a panoramic view covering the Shenzhen skyline and New Territories, Hong Kong.

Top1. Chinese Folk Culture Villages
Right next to Splendid China, the folk culture park dazzles with the histories and mysteries of the country's ethnic groups. Scattering around the 180,000-sqm park are 24 villages built in 1:1 ratio, inhabited by real ethnic people who present their traditional arts, customs, languages and cuisines. Traditional culture performances are held there every day. Like Splendid China, the park is also heavily forested.
Hours of Operation: 9:00 -- 21:00
Metro Stop: Hua Qiao Cheng (Exit D), Line 1
Top 2. Window of the World
Like Splendid China, this 480,000-sqm park features more than 130 miniature replicas of scenic and cultural wonders. The difference is that these are landmarks from all over the world. Here you can find the Golden Gate Bridge and the Niagara Waterfall of the United States, the Kremlin of Russia, Italy's Pisa Tower, Egyptian pyramids, the Taj Mahal of India and an Eiffel Tower built in 1:3 ratio.
Although these replicas would probably not attract Western visitors much, the park's daily dance performance and regular carnival-like events are of great fun. Beautifully illuminated at night, it is also an impressive city scene.
Hours of Operation: 9:00 -- 21:00
Metro Stop: Hua Qiao Cheng (Exit J), Line 1
Top 3. Happy Valley
This is a place for kids and families. Usually packed on weekends by families, the fun park offers more than 100 attractions ranging from the thrilling Space Shot to the lovely cartoon-themed events. It also holds daily performances of various themes.
