Suzhou Creek (also called Wusong R iver) is a river in China that passes through the Shanghai city centre.It's one of the important outlets of Lake Tai, Suzhou Creek has a length of 125km,the river flows into the Huangpu River at the northern end of the Bund. After the Treaty of Nanjing forced China to open up in1842 and Shanghai became a important trade port.The river dormed the boundary between the British comcession and America settlement until both concessions were merged into the International Settlement in 1863...............
