About this place

Capo Caccia is a picturesque limestone promontory in the north-western Sardinia. It's famous for its numerous underwater caves, some of which were inhabited already in the prehistoric times. In the area there lives the griffon vulture and other numerous species of birds and marine creatures. On the sea bed around Capo Caccia you can still find the red coral (Corallium Rubrum). There different bike and foot paths on the promontory which make for a nice trekking.
