Dear Pingyao visitors:

There is no ATM and bank service which are working for your card and cash exchange inside the wall.

But some hotel and restaurant  accept your card,but just a few.so you have to bring enough cash with you .

There is the ATM (Named ICBC ---Industry and Comercial Bank of  China)  which is just located outside of the Lower west gate.You can get the cash from this bank.

If you would like to exchange the cash, you have to go to the bank of China which is located outside of the sourthern wall.

(中国银行平遥县支行). you can show those words to find it .but you have to bring the new money (not the dirty one). You can walk to there ro take the bike,or taxi.
