Huangpu Village is a small village of 3sqkm that hosts about 6000 local residents and 6000 immigrants. Built in 1056-1063 during the Jiayou Reign in the North Song Dynasty, the village retains many slate lanes, old buildings and the traditional way of life, and local people live quietly in the east of Pazhou and by the Pearl River.
