Situated north of the old town, and open from early in the morning til after dark, the attractive is just a few minutes walk upstream from the waterwheel.

You will need your Old Town ticket to get in - 80 yuan. Then you can wander around the park, the former summer palace of the Naxi ruling Mu family. Visit the Dongba Research Institute, take a photo with the snow-capped mountain in view, look into the clear water and admire the large fish, find the lucky mahjong tree and rub it for good luck.
