A relaxing full day out to the countryside of Sai Kung, particularly suited for families with children.
First we visit the famous hexagonal columns at High Island Reservoir, part of the Hong Kong National Geopark of China, from there we walk along Sai Wan to Ham Tin for lunch and to spend some time at the beach.
Finally we walk to Chek Keng for a boat trip passing by the tranquil fishing settlements of Ko Lau Wan and Tap Mun island and then via the beautiful Tolo Harbour to Ma Liu Shui, near University MTR station, from where we take the MTR back to the urban areas.

Available weekends only, on weekdays the Ham Tin restaurants are closed. Tour includes about 15 km of walk over mostly well maintained paths.
Price is per group and includes taxi from the nearest MTR station to the starting point; add USD 30 per person for ferry fees and lunch in Ham Tin.
Tour includes guide fees.
Extra cost: about HKD 300 for taxi, about HKD 150 per person for lunch and ferry tickets.
