A student’s painting shows you a beautiful Aberdeen in the southern part of Hong Kong Island.

The cable car at the top of the painting just symbolizes the World’s best themed park in 2012, the Ocean Park.  It will bring more happiness to visitors by offering a new hotel and water world.

The bridge under the cable car is Ap Lei Chau Bridge.  It is pivotal for more than 90,000 islanders of the Duck Tongue (meaning of Ap Lei) Island, where the area is only 1.3 kilometer square.

The archway on the left is the Aberdeen Centre.  It is now the biggest private housing estate in Aberdeen.  In the past, the area was just a dockyard!

The subway under construction can bring more visitors to the famous Jumbo Floating Restaurant and surely make Aberdeen more prosperous and convenient.  The Jumbo is still the pearl of the fading fishing village, where the population of boatpeople is ever-decreasing.

画的顶部有一条缆车，这正是海洋公园的登山缆车，这个2012年的全球最佳主题公园将会扩建酒店和水上乐园，继续为客人带来欢乐。

缆车下面有一大桥，虽然设计平平无奇，但却是香港仔对岸人烟稠密的小岛鸭脷洲的交通命脉。

画的左下方有一座牌楼，上面写着「香港仔中心」，此乃香港仔著名的大型私人屋苑，从前却是一个大型船坞。

成功抵抗历史洪流屹立不倒的有画右下方的珍宝海鲜坊，它依旧是日渐息微的渔村的海上明珠，游客可乘舢舨到珍宝一游，品尝各国美食。

将为香港仔带来革命性转变的会是破土而出的地下铁路，居民和游客来往美丽香港仔渔村的时间将会大大缩短了。
