About this place

Cathedral of All Saints (Derby Cathedral) is the seat of the Bishop of Derby and the smallest Anglican cathedral in England. The cathedral dates back to 14th century and it is based on an earlier building from the medieval period.
It is situated in the center of the city and it is one of Derby´s landmarks. Te cathedral has features of both medieval and Gothic architecture, and it is believed that it stands on the grounds of a church built by King Edmund I in the 10th century.
Since the cathedral is situated in the historic center it is surrounded with beautiful buildings which together with the cathedral give the feeling of a walk through history of English towns.
