Hosted by Harbin Trade Union, the 28th Harbin Dragon Boat Festival Workers' Dragon Boat Race was held on Songhua River in the early morning of June 10, 2024 two days ago. Boats, sailboats and dragon boats competed on the river to attract many tourists and citizens to watch. Fifteen teams from Northeast Light Alloy Co., Ltd., Harbin Electric Machinery Factory Co., Ltd., Harbin Institute of Technology and other enterprises and institutions participated in the competition.The race track is 2000 meters long. The starting point of the race is located at Laotouwan area of Songhua River Harbin section, and the end is at the Flood Control Monument area of Songhua River Harbin section. At about 6:20am, as the referee's starting gun sounded, many dragon boats flew out of the starting point like the arrows off the string, flying waves, flying dragon flags, racing dragon boats and cheering crowds on the shore. The 15 teams are divided into 5 groups, each group of 3 teams, including both the "nine  championship" winners, and the ice and water dragon boat "double champion". In the end, Harbin Electric Machinery Factory Co., Ltd. team won the championship.

The event aims to deeply implement the deployment and arrangement of the "Charming Harbin Summer" cultural tourism fashion activities of Harbin Municipal Committee and Municipal Government in 2024, vigorously promote the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation, and constantly promote the vigorous development of sports activities for the majority of employees.
