With excellent authentic Western cuisine, a remarkably pleasant atmosphere, and overwhelmingly friendly owners and staff, this is the easy way to describe Zoe’s BBQ restaurant. What is more striking is Peter and Sean’s, Zoe’s owners, inspiration for opening an American style BBQ restaurant, “Barbecue is a classic way to bring people together, and that is what we really wanted.” Peter, from Chongqing, and Sean, from Chengdu, met through a local ’American mother’ named Zoe, who fortunately enough, just happened to hail from Texas. Let’s just say Zoe has passed on a few Texan secrets to her young Chinese sons and now Chengdu has been blessed with incredible BBQ. It should come as no surprise that the restaurant takes its name from its patron saint.
Whether you are craving a breakfast skillet, a slab of ribs, a hefty burger, some pizza, or a tasty lamb chop, you will find it here. Home delivery service is available until 22:00, so don’t hesitate to call. See the menu below for the wide selection of delicious Western dishes.

Directions: Zoe’s is right near the intersection of the Consulate road and Renmin Nanlu, across the street from the Western Tower. Buses 16, 45, and 99 drop you off right in front of the restaurant in the south end of town; look for the green sign.
