The climate in Yangzhou is pretty much the same as in Nanjing – hot, muggy summers and cold winters. Both seasons are still bearable, and the city is a camera clicking dream after a snowfall. The best times to visit though are the fall months of September through November when the city’s gingko trees turn a golden yellow. During the spring months of March, April, and May enough flowers bloom to inspire poetic billboard campaigns about them.
