It is the major spot for the religious activities of over 60,000 Moslems in Xi’an. When you get to there, you will find that this mosque is very different from other Arabic mosques, it looks very much like a Chinese temple or garden. It is also one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved Islamic mosques in China.

Here you can taste various kinds of well-known local foodstuffs, such as Guan Tang Bao Zi(steamed buns served with sauce inside), cold noodles, buckwheat noodles, stewed mutton soup, persimmon cakes, Zeng Gao(steamed sticky rice with dates), multi-layered fried cakes, crystal cakes and so on.
