Defuxiang is a small street stuffed with over 20 small bars and cafes.  The patios of the bars merge together so when the weather is right, the whole length of the street is full of customers enjoying drinks.  Beers cost 15-25 yuan while bottles of wine start at about 80 yuan.

We enjoyed going into a dumpling restaurant in the Defuxiang street, but the highlight, for me, was the activity in the square nearby. Although many of the people were there to sell things, they didn't apply a lot of pressure on tourists. As we sat and watched, they spun brightly lit tops, flew a variety of beautiful kites, and displayed their jewelry. One fellow rode a gigantic wheel as if it were a bicycle.
