Starbucks in Wuxi have little problem retaining their totally globalized, Western feel. The staff speak fairly solid English; the menu is in English, and the food is visible within a glass display. On busy days, such as weekend lunch-times, Starbucks is a good place to eat if you are not in the mood for long queues and jostling crowds. The coffee shops are often useful to meet up with friends and sometimes to get to know other expats in Wuxi, if that is your desire.
