Minh is the nicest person in the world! She took us around the city by motorbikes and introduced us some delicious local dishes. Minh also picked us up at the airport in Sai Gon and booked a hotel with quality but low price. Minh took care of everything thus making our visit in Vietnam unforgettable. If Minh offers you the chance to meet her you should definitely go for it! We were really amazed how nice, friendly and helpful she is! Hope to see you again!

Nancy stayed with us (me, my wife and our 2 daughters, 6 and 10 yo.) for 3 days and we loved her guidance and support. She was all the time very kind, polite and open. She is also very professional and organized everything for us; transfers,  car and driver, dining, shopping support ( she even bargained for us ! ), everything. The tours were very well organized and we could do the most out of our time. She was always very caring with our kids and they really liked her, even considering my daughters don't speak English. We really enjoyed every meal she organized for us, and she was very assertive on choosing the right plates for our taste. Nancy is a certified tour guide, so we didn't had to pay any ticket for her and we could feel that she was well respected everywhere. We strongly recommend her if you want a pleasant and trouble free stay in China.

I had the great luck to have Maggie as my business translator/assistant during my recent trip to China.   She was very helpful and organised all of my accommodation, transport and meetings, I just had to tell her what she wanted and she looked after the rest.    I was only going to meet with a supplier that was well established in our company and had been for many years.    Maggie was very professional and great company to have along on the long trip to see the factory.   She not only helped me t organise everything while there she also helped with shopping for gifts for friends and family back home at a good price. (Definately not used to bargaining).  I would highly recommend Maggie for your trip to Shanghai, be it tour or business she excels at both.   As this trip was for me to get a feel for China I will definately be back and using Maggie to assist me in the future.  Thanks for all your help Maggie.

I have had (2) 6 month long business trips to Fuzhou, China.  I had the good fortune to quickly meet with Sophie and get various types of help from her.  She has helped me with some translation services and I have to say the accuracy was top notch.  She has given me some short Mandarin lessons to help me with key phrases for some basic communication while I am at the factory.  She has also explained some key cultural differences to me when I really needed it.   Her English is very clear even over the phone so miscommunications are never a problem.  She has helped me get around to the places that I need to be in Fuzhou so many times that I now know how to get to most of them on my own!   I even know where some of the great restaurants and sights are around the city.  Even though I have spent a year of my time there I still tend to need help at least once a week and she is the only one I will ever call.

I am returning for another 6 months in China this year and I am glad that she is there because I will surely need her help!  If you intend to visit and you wish to speak with me about anything you can email me at jg5000 on yahoo.

QinQin provided me with the knowledge that I needed to help me get around Shanghai and feel safe doing it.  She is a real professional at what she does and is very knowledgeable of Shanghai and the culture.  Really enjoyed my time spent walking with her around the city and seeing how people live and eat and just the way of life in Shanghai. QinQin was able to help me get my train ticket for my travel onto Beijing and also helped me to learn my way around on the local metro system, which is the way to go in Shanghai.  Thanks again QinQin for all your help and hope to one day run into you again.

Lot of postings on the internet say you don't need a tour guide in Hong Kong because most people are able to converse in English. I think otherwise. It is better to have a tour guide be it in Hong Kong or mainland China. It can be a conducted tour or a private guide. If you select the first one you are stuck to its standard itinerary and the day may not be well utilized. Jun was my guide for the few days I stayed in Hong Kong and she delivered an excellent tour. Worth mentioning are a few places she took me for dining like the authentic Chinese dim sum restaurant and the hot pot restaurant which I am sure no conducted tour would have done that. That is  the advantage of a local help. I let her do all the tour planning for me and at the end of my stay I found that every hour was best utilized. Jun is much a nice and excellent person, perfectly fluent in English and I would recommend her to anybody who would like to have a customized tour of Hong Kong

Bryan was my guide in Xi'an in March 2013. As promised, he arranged for me to be collected from the airport in a comfortable car on the evening of my arrival. The following morning he picked me up punctually at my hotel and took me up onto the city walls. From there we went to see the remains of a Neolithic village at the Banpo Museum, and then drove out to see the terracotta warriors. Bryan spoke good English, had a pleasant sense of humour, and was both knowledgeable and interesting as a guide. He certainly had the ability to communicate his enthusiasm for his subject. He let me take things at my own pace and was good at answering my questions. I didn't want to stop for lunch, so we only had a brief coffee break, but he showed no signs of fatigue or impatience. He didn't try to lure me into expensive shops in the hope of earning a commission; and when I did want to buy some souvenirs, he was anxious to make sure that I wasn't fleeced. At then end of our tour he took me back to the airport, and remained with me until I went through security. Altogether, Bryan helped to make my visit to Xi'an memorable and enjoyable. I recommend him highly.
