At the northeast corner of the intersection is the Wan Jia Fu (万家福) department store with 5 floors of just about every product under the sun. Many products include very entertaining translations as well.

They serve pizza, steak, and other Western choices for decent prices and offer a quieter, less smoky alternative to other Chinese restaurants. Don’t be afraid to bargain here as well. Any items normally found in Yangzhou's touristy areas can be found on these streets for half the price.
