No. 34, 4th Section Renmin Nanlu Tandoori Indian offers about the priciest, but probably the finest Indian cuisine in Chengdu. It is Indian owned and operated and at night scantily clad dancers perform traditional Indian dance. Expect to pay about 40-80 Yuan per person not including drinks. The service is also excellent.

For vegetarians, here is the heaven.Even for the people who like meet, here is also pretty good. here.The food is simple, but very fresh. The menu has so many dishes for you to choose, but the staff don't speak much English.

No. 15 Wenshuyuan Jie, just off of Renmin Zhonglu, Qingyang Dist. This restaurant is the only vegetarian restaurant that I know of in Chengdu. It is located within the Wenshu Buddhist Monastery, hence it is vegetarian. I’ll have to agree with the Lonely Planet’s review which labels the cuisine as excellent.
