Shenzhen enjoys a sub-tropical maritime climate with mild winters and hot, humid summers. The hottest months are July and August when temperatures will range from 24 to 33 C (76 to 92 F). The coolest months are January and February. At this time of year Shenzhen will experience temperatures of 10/20 C  (50/69 F). The rainy season lasts from May to September and the city can be hit by typhoons and storms between July and October. Late October, November and early December, when the weather tends to be comfortably warm and relatively dry, are the best months to visit
