50 Yuan You can walk the Tiger Leaping Gorge Trail in 1-3 days. Most people do it in 2 days. Start the walk either from QiaoTou or Tina's Guest House at attitude 1800M, climbing up to 2500M. Once you are at 2500M, the walk becomes easy and enjoying. Stay overnight at the Half Way Guest House or the Tea Horse Hotel.

80 yuan God's Waterfall is deep in the Mei Li Snow Mountain YU Beng Village. The village is very remote. It can only be access by walking or on horse back.

Na Bai Lake is at north of Shangrila. In summer, the pasture around is green and there are many yaks and sheeps. In winter, lots of birds from Siberia fly to here.

30 Yuan White Water Terrace is founding place for Naxi minority. Located about 100km from Shangrila town. Rich calcium water flow throw the ground and deposit as white crystal ground to form the terrace. A beautiful place to visit. Schedule bus runs from Lijiang to Qiao Tou and change another bus to White Water Terrace.       
Meili Snow Mountain 6740M above sea level. Locate at north west of Yunnan province. Tibetan respect it as holy mountain. There are hidden villages living in very simple and basic life style. Sunrise ay Meili Snow Mountain is spectacular.

RMB85 Yu Beng (3200M) is a Tibetan Village hidden deep inside the Meili Snow Mountain. There is no road for vehicle. From where you drop your car ((2675M), you have to walk 6 hours to get there (highest point is 3730M). Tibetan live in a simple life. Visitors are limited to backpackers who love nature.            
It is the middle of January in 2012. It has been snowing for about a week. The road got blocked by the heavy snow. We've been watching the sky and finally the sun shines, and finally we made the trip to Shangrila, with two customers from Austrilia.   
Throughout the history,Tibetan Buddhism has developed into different schools and sects such as the Nyingma Sect,the Sakya Sect,the Gelug Sect and Kagyu Sect.The Gandan Songzanlin Lamasery features the Gelug Sect,it is the largest Tibetan Buddhist lamasery in Yunnan Province and also one of the 13 famous Lamaist monasteries in Tibetan regions.
