Sasha’s is a Shanghai legend. Popular with both the expat community and the upwardly mobile Chinese thirty somethings, Sasha’s boasts an amazing atmosphere and incredible food. Nestled inside a beautiful 1920s style mansion in the French Concession area of downtown Shanghai, Sasha’s has a luxurious yet accessible feel. In the summer the beautiful garden hosts playful children and their (hopefully) relaxed parents panning out on wooden furniture under huge garden umbrellas. On a rainy day the ground floor offers a pleasant bar environment. After sunset the second floor opens up for a fabulous dining experience with a varied western menu. If you really want to push the boat out, the third floor offers cigars and the best and most exclusive ports and bourbon.
Sasha’s is my favourite space in Shanghai mainly for its relaxed, yet classy atmosphere. Please be sure to check out Sasha’s during a trip to Shanghai.
