Framlingham Castle is a beautiful fortress/castle from 12th century with long and fascinating history. The castle is surrounded by vast green meadows, and a lake. From 1148, the year of its construction until the end of the 13th century the castle was owned by several nobilities who in spite of its strong walls managed to conquer it.

Buckingham Old Gaol Museum building dates back to 1748 when it was built to serve as a prison, and now it houses a beautiful museum which explores the history of Buckingham. What were once prison cells now are exhibition areas.
The museum includes the Flora Thompson Collection and the Buckinghamshire Military Trust exhibits. The Old Gaol Museum is a Buckinghamshire landmark.
