Tai Dong Shopping Area ( 台东 tái dōng )

If you want to go shopping in Qingdao, Taidong is your best bet. Here you can find just about anything from gifts and souvenirs to clothes, food, and electronics. The shops are open until around 10:00 pm, and in the afternoons and evenings there streets are clogged with thousands of people bargaining for good deals at the street vendors. 

Location: Just east of Beer Street. All taxi drivers will know “tái dōng”.
